Paradigm was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies
Act, 1965 as a private limited company on 14 February
1994 under the name of Paradigm Systems Sdn. Bhd.
On 9 June 2004, the Company converted to a public
limited company.
Paradigm
commenced operations on 1 August 1994 and is principally
involved in the design, development, installation
and implementation of Information and Knowledge Management
systems.
In
1997, Paradigm signed a joint development agreement
with Universiti Teknologi MARA (“UiTM”)
to develop ILMU. Currently, ILMU™, is one of
four product lines designed and developed by Paradigm.
The other three products are NeuSync™ (formerly
known as Smart Tools), NeuWeb™ (formerly known
as e-Components) and NeuLogic™ (formerly known
as Enterprise Knowledge Management System or EKMS).
NeuLogic™, which is Paradigm’s latest
flagship in Knowledge Management (KM), was conceptualized
in 1999 and research activities commenced in 2000.
In
July 2000, Paradigm was awarded the MSC status and
has since been enjoying benefits, such as tax and
other incentives, advisory services as well as participation
in trade missions overseas.
In
2004, Paradigm obtained the Department of Standards
Malaysia (“DSM”) accreditation for compliance
to ISO9001:2000 and UKAS accreditation for compliance
to BS EN ISO9001:2000.
In
December 2004, Paradigm was ranked among the top 500
technology companies in the Asia Pacific region, by
Deloitte. In April 2005 Paradigm was selected by the
Multimedia Development Corporation (MDC) to participate
in its Quality Excellence for Software and Technology
SMEs (QuESTS) programme. |
